Does not restore data from iPhone backups

It does a fantastic job for doing what it does. Keeping all your data, Credit Card info, important notes, pictures and video you want to keep private. Lots of great features with decoys and all that jazz. 5 stars for that.

But if you happen to be anyone who ever needs to restore the phone from a backup (like when I upgraded to my iPhone 5S). It will not save ANY of your data. I happened to have another secret folder type app called Photo Vault which I didnt use as much because it wasnt as good as this app in my opinion. But what it DID do…was retain all your files when you restored your from a iPhone backup.
My Secret Folder does not.

So if you store anything in this app…be sure to back it up elsewhere. This app will not restore any of your data from the iPhone backup. Ive restored this backup for an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 5S…both times I lost all the files I had stored inside.
So 2 stars overall because I have to re-upload all my files every time I restore my iPhone.
